Business trip
The bed was very comfortable—nice and high. The pillows were good quality. The TV was huge, which made it easy to view. We also had a great view from the third floor. The bathroom and the bath were massive.
We didn't like the internal door to the room next to us. Sound travelled through from the other room and clearly from our room into theirs as we often got home late at night and they opened their door to bang on our door to complain. - needs more sound proofing.

Nice hotel out of the big city with walking distance restaurants nearby.
Large size room and nice bathroom, small fridge and kettle in room. there was a small private patio where you could sit out with your morning coffee. Gastropub restaurant onsite had good food for dinner. Maid service was every day. Bus stop out front took you to the light rail station so getting to downtown Auckland was easy without a car.
Hotel breakfast was disappointing, just muffins and toast. No exercise facilities on site but they do give you vouchers for a community center gym about a 10 min walk away.

Great place to stay
The rooms have been refurbished since I last stayed, and they look great - do fresh and clean - well done!
I didn't have breakfast there as it didn't seem like value for money, however I understand that for others it's convenient, so well done for providing something like that.
